The short answer. Yes.

Can you just be “on Google” and see results?

No.

Ranking First

This is a question I get almost daily. How do you do it? First, having a website is vital here. A well-optimized website with the correct SEO is even more of a must-have.

See above. Have a website. Have keywords in all of your online opportunities (ie, social media, website, etc.)

Listed on the Map

Google My Business. Go to www.google.com/business. Make sure your Google My Business account is set up.
